Once a year the streets of Long Beach are closed for the weekend as they host the Long Beach Grand Prix, the famous Indycar street race. Inside the Convention Center, sponsors (including Coke Zero) gathered to show visitors and fans race-related products and exhibits. In addition to the big race, there were four smaller races, featuring different classes of cars. The drifting demonstrations were a big draw, especially with the movies highlighting drifting that have come out in recent years. There was even a celebrity race (Brian Austin Green, from the original Beverly Hills 90210 came in 3rd) with drivers like Adrian Brody, Keanu Reeves, Christian Slater, Tony Hawk and others. Here are some photos of some of the cool cars on display.
