Sasquatch

It was a crazy Memorial Day weekend between the Country Cabin Motel and working at the Sasquatch Music Festival in the middle of Washington State. The festival is held at the Gorge Amphitheater, and features a great line-up of indie/alternative bands. Due to the remote location, most people camp, and we were set up right in the middle of the campground. Even after a hard night listening to their favorite bands and partying the night away, Sasquatch campers were up bright and early. Pizza and Coke Zero apparently made a great breakfast, and became a pretty popular choice. Since the Coke Zero set-up was near the mobile showers, people saw just where to head after they were finished washing up as well. Every afternoon after work we head back to the only lodging we had been able to find. The Country Cabins looked a bit shady from the outside, but turned out to be a great find. They were roomy, clean and comfortable, and really did look like a log cabin from the inside. Every night, dinner was prepared at a little Mexican place down the road. They had some of the best tacos we’d had in a LONG time, and they kept us coming back. Apparently many of the good citizens of Jalisco, Mexico have relocated to the area, and boy they know how to cook!
